Axis Bank Appoints Anoop Manohar As Chief Marketing Officer

Axis Bank has appointed Anoop Manohar as Chief Marketing Officer.

Manohar has joined Axis Bank from The Coca-Cola Company where he handled the marketing duties of Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, and Papua New Guinea from Jakarta, Indonesia. He was associated with the company for nearly a decade.

He also worked at Hindustan Unilever (HUL) where he was the Drug Channel Project Lead. At PepsiCo, he was the Sales Manager. 

Manohar takes over the responsibility from Asha Kharga, who moved on from the bank in March this year.

CarDekho Appoints Mayank Gupta As CFO

CarDekho Group has appointed Mayank Gupta as Chief Financial Officer. Mayank will oversee financial, compliance, legal and investor relations areas and will also be responsible for managing the processes for financial planning and reporting, risk management, etc as the company looks ahead to an IPO. Operating out of the CarDekho Gurugram office, he will be reporting to CarDekho CEO & Co-Founder Amit Jain.

Mayank Gupta brings in rich experience of over 20 years, including 14 years at GE. He has also worked with leading corporate brands such as Maruti Suzuki, Ecom Express and Tata 1mg.

Before joining CarDekho, Mayank was with Tata 1mg where he was instrumental in the e-health startup 1mg’s strategic stake sale to the Tata group. He also helped e-logistics startup Ecom Express scale up 4x profitably while raising multiple rounds of capital. At GE, he was the CFO of its three businesses in South Asia - Oil and Gas, Transportation and Aviation businesses, and also worked across the world in various businesses. He had played a key role in helping GE bag the largest ‘Make in India’ project from Indian Railways.

He holds a Chartered Accountancy degree from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and is a graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, New Delhi.

R K Swamy Hansa Appoints Rajeev Newar As Group CFO

R K Swamy Hansa has appointed Rajeev Newar as Group Chief Finance Officer. In this role, the finance functions of R K Swamy BBDO, Hansa Research Group, Hansa Customer Equity, Hansa Medcell and Hansa Vision will be overseen by him. He will work in close partnership with the leaders in every operation to bring about efficiencies in the Finance function at each company level and the aggregate level.

Speaking on the appointment, Shekar Swamy, Group CEO said, “R K Swamy Hansa is driving for operational consolidation, even as it retains the independence of its functional disciplines and client focus. The appointment of Rajeev Newar is a step in this direction.”

Rajeev Newar has built a broad-based career over three decades with Tata, Birla & K Raheja Corp. His senior leadership roles in Finance and Strategy have been across multiple sectors He is a qualified CA and CS and holds certifications from IIM-A, ISB, Cornell, Stanford and Michigan.

Rubeena Singh Joins Josh As Country Manager

According to some media reports, Rubeena Singh, the former CEO of iProspect, has joined Josh, VerSe Innovation's proprietary technology platform, as Country Manager. The short video app is thought to have a user base of 300 million or more.

After four years as CEO of Dentsu's digital-first end-to-end media agency iProspect, Singh stepped down in August this year. Singh was succeeded by Vinod Thadani, who joined Dentsu Media Group as CEO of iProspect and Chief Digital Growth Officer.

Singh has more than 20 years of expertise in digital, print, and radio, and is recognised for his impressive track record. She has also held top positions at Moneycontrol and Forbes.

Rajul Kulshreshtha(CEO) Quits Madison Media Plus 

Madison Media Plus's CEO, Rajul Kulshreshtha, who has been with the company since June 2019, has resigned.

Kulshreshtha has over 20 years of expertise in the business and has previously worked at Kinetic, Motivator, and Universal McCann.

When asked about it, a company official confirmed the development and informed that Abhik Banerjee who heads Madison Media's Delhi office has taken over the charge.

He didn’t comment on the matter further on when did Kulshreshtha left and from when Banerjee took over his charge.
