Madhavi Kanumoory Appointed Chief Digital & Information Officer At Birla Carbon

Birla Carbon thas appointed Madhavi Kanumoory as Chief Digital & Information Officer at Birla Carbon.

In this role, she will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s digital and information technology. Kanumoory will report to John Loudermilk, Chief Operating Officer, joining the company’s Senior Management Team and will be based at the Birla Carbon office in Mumbai.

“In a world where rapidly evolving digital tools and data analytics present fantastic opportunities, we are excited to welcome Madhavi to our leadership team,” stated John Loudermilk. “She brings a wealth of experience leading digital transformation and leveraging information systems to create value.”

Before joining Birla Carbon, Kanumoory served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Healthcare Global Enterprise based in Bangalore, India. Prior to this, she held various leadership roles at General Electric Company, Bell Helicopter and Zeon Chemicals in the United States and India.


Michelin Names Gaganjot Singh As President, Michelin Africa, India & Middle East Region

Michelin Group has named Gaganjot Singh as the President, Michelin Africa, India and Middle East Region, the Company announced today. He will be based out of Pune, India. Gaganjot Singh succeeds Marc Pasquet, who has been called to other functions in the Michelin Group.

Across his 10 year tenure with Michelin, Gaganjot has held various leadership roles in finance, sales, and other commercial functions across Asia, Africa and Europe. Since 2019, Gaganjot served as Global Business Model Leader – Large Fleets within the Long Distance Transportation Business Line. From 2016 to 2019, he was the Managing Director of South Africa Customs Union (SACU), Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mozambique. In 2012, he joined Michelin Group in India as Chief Financial Officer of the country.

Earlier in his career, Gaganjot has held various leadership positions in companies such as GlaxoSmithKline and Pepsico in varying functions of Finance, Purchase, Logistics, including his last role as CFO of Saint-Gobain Construction Products in India before joining Michelin Group in 2012.

Licious Appoints Himanshu Verma As Chief Product & Technology Officer

An industry veteran with over two decades of experience, Himanshu’s last assignment was with Amazon, where he served as Director of Product & Engineering. Prior to that, Himanshu has served as CTO at Yatra.com, one of the largest online travel companies in India. During his 25-year-long career, Himanshu had leadership stints with leading technology companies such as Flipkart, Yahoo!, and Oracle, to name a few.

Cars24 Names Mrinal Sinha As Chief Human Resources Officer

CARS24 has appointed Mrinal Sinha as its Chief Human Resources Officer. He will be based out of Gurgaon. In this newly created role, Mrinal will focus on human resources strategy, leadership and cultural development, diversity, equity, and inclusion, underscoring the Company’s overarching commitment to being a leader and employer of choice in India.

Prior to his time at BALIC, Mrinal held Human Resources Positions at Max Life Insurance Company Limited and ICICI Bank.
