Dentsu India on-boards Bhasker Jaiswal as Chief Operations Officer, Media

Dentsu India has appointed Bhasker Jaiswal as the Chief Operations Officer, Media, dentsu India. As a member of the executive team, he will report to Divya Karani, Chief Executive Officer, Media, dentsu South Asia.

In his new role, Jaiswal will lead integration, transformation, and operational excellence agendas while driving innovations and excellence for dentsu clients and businesses through its three award-winning media agencies; Carat, iProspect and dentsu X. He will work closely with Divya Karani to deliver business transformation, set up and standardise operations and systems, govern product leadership, and enable sustainable revenue growth.

With over 24 years of experience in the media and advertising industry across APAC (India, Malaysia, China, and Singapore), Jaiswal specialises in building solutions for advertisers and media companies across monetisation, research, and media investments. His key strength sits in understanding the eco-system of consumers, advertisers, and media owners, as well as the decision-making heuristic. He is passionate about disrupting the current thinking and has developed industry-leading proprietary products which bring efficiency and effectiveness across geographies and clients.

Wunderman Thompson Hires Tom Murphy As Chief Creative Officer

Audrey Melofchik, CEO of Wunderman Thompson North America has announced that Tom Murphy will join the agency as Chief Creative Officer. Known for his track record of creative excellence that drove McCann’s most celebrated work of the past decade, including the iconic “Fearless Girl”, Tom’s access to Wunderman Thompson’s toolbox of end-to-end capabilities will inspire endless ideas and solutions to impact its North American clients.

Varghese M Thomas moves on from TVS Motors

After contributing for seven years at TVS Motors as SVP and Global Head of Communications, Varghese M Thomas has decided to move on. He is expected to be on garden leave.

Thomas is a corporate communication leader with expertise in building an online brand reputation and devising robust communication models to enable informed strategy. He also specialises in event management, public relations, and strategy formulation to attain organisation and stakeholder value.

Prior to joining TVS Motors, Thomas has been associated with notable organisations like Blackberry India, Cisco, Intel, Genesis Burson Mastellar, and Corporate Voice Weber Shandwick.

Interbrand Hires Four Executives To Strengthen Leadership Team 

Interbrand bolsters its leadership team by appointing four Executives in elevated and new roles, with the goal in mind to drive strategic partnerships, accelerate growth, and burgeon overall enterprise value.

Satish Krishnamurthy assumes the role of Chief Strategy Officer. Ameya Kapnadak takes on the role of Chief Growth Officer and Head of Consulting – Interbrand India. Payal Shah is now the Strategy Director and Head - of Human Truths, India. Rahul Bansal will function as the Strategy Director and Head- of Brand Economics, India.
