Google TV Appoints Prashant Paulose As Content Partnerships
According to his revised LinkedIn page, Prashant Paulose, the head of Apple's video and music division in India, has joined Google as Content Partnerships, Google TV.
Prashant was promoted to Video Business Lead, India, by Apple in April of this year. He was in charge of the company's Video & Music division in this position. Prior to his promotion, Prashant worked for Apple Music & iTunes in India as the Music & Movies Business Manager. In April of 2017, he joined Apple India.
He was AVP — Business Development, Digital & Sports at Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) before joining Apple. Aside from SonyLIV's sports vertical, he was in charge of the digital licencing and syndication business.
In a career spanning 14 years, Paulose has also worked with companies like the Sahara One Media and Entertainment and Tata Motor Finance, apart from SPNI and Apple. He has diverse experience across various content types including Video, Music, and Sports in digital as well as broadcast mediums.
Prashant holds an MBA degree in Marketing & Finance from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). He has also done BE (Electronics) from University of Mumbai.
Dentsu Appoints Roopam Garg As CEO- Dentsu X India
Dentsu India has appointed Roopam Garg as CEO for dentsu X (dX) India. Roopam, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of dX India for the past five years, has been promoted to oversee dentsu India's media agency and drive the company's growth narrative in the nation. dX India's three agency brands, dentsuX-palette, dentsuX-cubic, and dentsuX-matrix, currently offer comprehensive communication solutions.
Roopam has been instrumental in boosting dentsu X's expansion to become India's most dominating agency – RECMA 2021 – in his role as Chief Operating Officer. He has almost two decades of expertise in communication and media, with top leadership responsibilities in India, the Middle East, China, Vietnam, and London. Prior to this, he served as the Managing Director of Publicis Groupe Vietnam and the Chief Operating Officer of ZenithOptimedia Group India.
Roopam will continue to report into Divya Karani, CEO, Media – South Asia in his new role. Leading a strong team of media specialists, he will be responsible for carrying forward the learnings of seamless integrated Consumer and Brand interaction to drive holistic communication planning for clients’ business. Aligned with the global plan of transforming into the world’s most integrated group by 2024, dX India’s growth story will further accelerate dentsu India 2.0.

Sanjay Pugalia Quits Quint Media As President
Sanjay Pugalia has stepped down as President Quint Digital Media Ltd, the company confirmed this development in its BSE listing.
Prior to joining Quint, Pugalia was editor-in-chief of CNBC Awaaz. He has been a leader of several of the private, independent channels as India's media industry was developing 24-news channels beginning in the 1990s.
In more than 25 years as a journalist, Pugalia has worked in both print and broadcast journalism. He has worked with The Times Group, Business Standard, Aaj Tak, Zee News, Star News and CNBC Awaaz.
Viacom18 Appoints Anil Jayaraj As CEO-Sports
Viacom18 has appointed Anil Jayaraj as CEO-Sports. Jayaraj will be in charge of the Media & Entertainment network's expansion into sports property acquisition, broadcasting, and monetisation.
Anil Jayaraj comes to Viacom18 from Star Sports, where he served as Executive Vice President in charge of ad sales, global syndication, and cross-screen offer design and measurement. He has led his team to achieve business results in a variety of athletic events, including the Indian Premier League, Cricket World Cup, Pro Kabaddi League, and Indian Super League, among others. He has a proven track record of directing teams to achieve business objectives in both B2C and B2B customer organisations, and he excels in strategic and leadership roles.
Welcoming Anil Jayaraj, Adil Zainulbhai, Chairman, Network18 said, “We believe that sports is an important category in our promise to deliver wholesome entertainment to our 800mn+ viewers across demographics and geographies. CredAvenue Appoints Karanpreet Bindra As CMO
Karanpreet Bindra has been named Chief Marketing Officer of CredAvenue. Karanpreet's current role at CredAvenue will see him supervise the entire spectrum of digital, product, PR/Comms, and brand marketing for both the Enterprise and B2C companies. He will be stationed in Bangalore and will report directly to Gaurav Kumar.
Karanpreet will be in charge of CredAvenue's global brand strategy, digital marketing strategy and innovation, product marketing strategy, and consumer business incubation as a CMO. Karanpreet will define a digital first path for all marketing initiatives as a digital evangelist.
Karanpreet has worked with several seasoned companies ranging from FMCG, Fintech, Personal Care, and Paints across a vast geographical in India and the Middle East as a growth specialist for over 15 years. Karanpreet has helped many start-ups develop dramatically, and his specialties include P&L management, Brand Development & Building, and Digital Transformation.
