Kanan Dave roped in as National Marketing Director, Mirchi

Kanan Dave has joined Mirchi as National Marketing Director.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as National Marketing Director - Mirchi at Mirchi!,” said her recent post on Linkedin.

Prior to this, she was VP – Head of Marketing & SpotlampE at 9X Media Pvt. Ltd. She has previously worked with organizations like The Walt Disney Company, Saregama India and BIG 92.7FM.

Dave has 15 years of rich and diverse experience in media and entertainment business.


Digitas India appoints Abhinav Parshad as Senior Creative Director

Digitas India has announced the appointment of Abhinav Parshad (PD) as Senior Creative Director.

Parshad joins Digitas India from Dentsu Webchutney, with a mandate to further build and scale the agency’s creative technology solutions across the region.

He will report to Abraham Varughese, Chief Creative Officer, Digitas India.

Welcoming him to the agency, Varughese said, “Abhinav is one of those rare creatives who has a keen eye for culture, a fascination for technology and unbridled enthusiasm for ideas. I am really looking forward to working with him and helping our clients deliver memorable connected experiences across the entire consumer journey.”

On joining Digitas India and his mandate ahead, Abhinav said, “My mantra has always been to work with the right people. EMotorad appoints Rettwij Hastu as Vice President - Marketing 

EMotorad has appointed Rettwij Hastu as their Vice President of Marketing. The addition of Rettwij Hastu, a veteran in the digital sector, complements the company’s aggressive development plans to further expand the organisation's authority in the consistently advancing EV sector.

At EMotorad, Rettwij’s role is to develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness. As VP of Marketing, he will create a cohesive, frictionless, and innovative omni-consumer experience. He would also be responsible for defining the strategy, planning, customer engagement and communication for global markets, in alignment with the company's focus and mission.

Rettwij has had a dynamic career spanning over 14 years across the digital & marketing industry in the Indian market.

Prior to joining EMotorad, Rettwij was the Regional Head - of Operations (South) at WATConsult, and was responsible for driving performance and growing presence in Southern India. Over the years, he has held senior positions in multiple digital agencies and led efforts for a plethora of different global and Indian brands. With an in-depth understanding of consumers across demographics and the automobile space among many other industries, he has played an integral role in launching campaigns for brands such as Yamaha, Toyota, Himalaya, Jockey, and SAP and managing the digital presence of brands like Cricbuzz, Star Plus, 3M India, TVS Motors, Apollo Tyres, Dominos India and GMR among many other.

Publicis Groupe ropes in Scott Hagedorn as Chief Solutions Architect

Former Omnicom Media Group’s CEO NA, Scott Hagedorn has joined Publicis Groupe as Chief Solutions Architect. He will also join the company’s U.S. ComEx leadership team and report directly to Arthur Sadoun, CEO, and chairman of Publicis Groupe.

Hagedorn made the appointment public through a LinkedIn post. Through the new role, he will bring together Publicis’ creative, media, data, and technology assets. He will also be responsible to identify and drive new strategic capabilities, build centers of excellence for innovation and serve as a strategic partner to client leaders globally.

In a similar development, Samantha Levine Archer, Omnicom Media Group NA’s chief transformation officer also joined Publicis to work in partnership with Hagedorn in the role of a U.S.-focused solution.

Prior to this, Hagedorn helped launched Omnicom’s Hearts & Science data unit and headed its Annalect data technology platform. He was also associated with PHD Media Limited. as CEO, RAPP as Chief Digital Officer, and many more.
