Organic India Appoints Akila Chandrasekar As Head Of Marketing

Organic India has named Akila Chandrasekar as its new Head of Marketing. Akila will head the marketing strategy & operations, and will also be responsible for Organic India’s overall brand equity and architecture. Akila will report to Subrata Dutta, Group Managing Director at Organic India.

“We are pleased to welcome Akila to ORGANIC INDIA. She brings with her over 22 years of experience in the field of Marketing and Branding. We are sure her rich experience in the FMCG sector will further drive the growth strategy for Organic India," comments Dutta.

Akila is an alumnus of Narsee Monjee Institute of Management, Mumbai. Her strength is driving the brand positioning and garnering mind share through effective product management and communication.

She has previously worked with companies such as Titan, Britannia, Godrej and 3M and held numerous executive-level positions with various other brands.


Fittr Names Kapil Mehta as Head of Marketing

Fittr has strengthened its core leadership team with the appointment of Kapil Mehta as the Head of Marketing. In his new role, Kapil will be responsible for formulating the overall marketing strategy, alongside building, and developing brand Fittr, further. He will report to the Founder and CEO, Jitendra Chouksey.

A seasoned marketing professional with over 13 years of experience, Kapil was previously heading marketing at BookMyShow, India's leading entertainment platform, for the last seven years. Previously, Kapil has also served marketing roles within the gaming and financial services industries.

Wondrlab Ropes In Sweety Advani As Chief Financial Officer

Wondrlab has appointed Sweety Advani as its Chief Financial Officer. She will be based in Mumbai, and will report to Saurabh Varma, Founder & CEO at Wondrlab. Sweety joins from Publicis Groupe, where she was the Finance Director for South Asia. 

“Wondrlab’s exponential growth needed a finance head that can keep up with our momentum. Sweety is a proven results-oriented leader with tremendous financial expertise. Her vision and ambition for Wondrlab matches ours, making her the perfect fit for the role,” shares Saurabh Varma, Founder & CEO, Wondrlab.

Sweety has almost two decades of industry experience with stints across key organisations in India.
