Hershey Elevates Ankit Desai To A Global Role

Desai will now be reporting to Luigi Mirri, who serves as the Managing Director for India, China, and the Asia Pacific region

Hershey's Marketing Director, Ankit Desai has been elevated to a global role as the General Manager for South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. 

He shared the news on his LinkedIn profile.

Desai informed BW Marketing World that his reporting line will now be to Luigi Mirri, who serves as the Managing Director for India, China, and the Asia Pacific region.

Desai has been an integral part of Hershey India since 2017 when he initially joined as the General Manager of Marketing. With a career spanning over 17 years, he is recognised as a seasoned marketing executive with expertise in marketing strategies and commercial operations across diverse Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) categories. His experience encompasses a wide range of products, including chocolates, snacks, breakfast cereals, groceries, health-focused F&B, and confectionery.

Before his tenure with Hershey India, Desai was associated with Kellogg where he spent almost four years. Prior to that, he was associated with Perfetti Van Melle for over seven years, holding various roles.
