Ipsos Appoints Cynthia Pachovski, CEO, Ipsos Canada

The appointment of Cynthia Pachovski as CEO of Ipsos Canada has been announced by the global Ipsos, a market research and polling firm.

With more than 20 years of professional experience, Pachovski is a skilled executive who has managed teams responsible for market research and business development across a range of industries and geographies.

In October 2019, she returned to Ipsos Canada as the division's President of market strategy and understanding. She oversaw her team's efforts to serve clients with cutting-edge market intelligence, technologically driven solutions, and strategic solutions in her job.

More recently, Pachovski took over as Canada's interim CEO on 1 September after Gary Bennewies, the organisation's prior CEO, retired.

Pachovski oversaw the Nielsen Media Digital and Consumer Insights Divisions in Canada before re-joining Ipsos. By introducing fresh data and technological solutions to support clients' digital transformation agendas, she effectively transformed the company. 


FightSight Ropes In Yogesh Dwivedi As Chief Digital Officer

Yogesh Dwivedi has been appointed by FirstSight as its Chief Digital Officer. FirstSight specialises in helping direct-to-consumer (D2C) businesses improve their performance marketing tactics (CDO).

Akshay Khirodwala, the CEO and founder of FirstSight, will be his supervisor, and his headquarters will be in Mumbai.

He will work closely with the performance and ecommerce teams to deliver highly effective marketing campaigns in addition to playing a key role in developing the strategic reorientation and managing business intelligence initiatives..

He has managed all facets of digital marketing for respected companies over his nearly ten years in this field. He had previously worked for a number of marketing firms, such as Dentsu, Madison World, and IPG Media Brands.


Kumar Shekhar elevated as Deputy Country Manager, Tide India

Tide, the UK's SME-focused business financial platform, has elevated Kumar Shekhar as Deputy Country Manager, Tide India.

The announcement follows Tide’s recent market entry into India.

In his new role, Kumar will focus on strengthening Tide’s presence in India, to better meet the needs of Tide members. He will also help position Tide for nationwide growth and realise Tide’s commitment to making it easier for SMEs to do business. 

Kumar has more than 16 years of experience in Operations, Servicing, Risk & Fraud Management, Collection, Internal Audit, Headcount & Cost Planning, and Team Management. Before joining Tide, Kumar served as the Vice President-Risk Operations at PayU Payments and held leadership positions at GE Capital and SBI Card. 


Tribhuwan Joshi joins Asus India as Lead – Corp Comm, PR&CSR, Consumer & ROG PC Business

Tribhuwan Joshi has joined Asus India as Lead – Corporate communications, PR and CSR, Consumer and ROG PC Business. 

His last stint was with Fujifilm India as Vertical Head – Brand Communications, PR and CSR.

Joshi is an integrated Communications Professional with over 15 years of cross-functional experience across corporate and agencies. He has contributed to some notable organisations such as Panasonic India, Anchor by Panasonic, MSL Group India and Team Orange PR.
