Persistent onboards new CMO, Sony Pictures Networks India and Adomantra appoint new Business Heads and Westlife Foodworld Ltd. promotes its VC as Chairperson

Several companies have announced new appointments including CMOs and Business Heads in their leadership teams to drive growth and expansion. Here are all the details of new appointments and promotions. 

Persistent

Persistent onboard Gurvinder Sahni as Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, he will be responsible for leading and setting the strategic vision for the company’s global marketing team.

Sahni joins with extensive experience in global enterprise marketing transformation. He joins the company after 20 years at Wipro, spanning various leadership roles, including Chief of Staff for the Chairman’s office, Strategic Advisor to the Chief Growth Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, among others. He brings a passion for results-driven marketing, collaboration, client-centricity and influencer marketing. Gurvinder will be a member of Persistent’s executive leadership team and is based out of New Jersey, USA.

Sony Pictures Networks India

While aligning with its vision for the future, Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) has made strategic leadership changes with the appointment of Danish Khan as Business Head for Sony Liv and Studio Next. Meanwhile, Neeraj Vyas will oversee SPNI's Hindi language entertainment as Business Head for SET, SAB, PAL, and Hindi Movies.

Danish and Neeraj will report to the MD & CEO of SPNI, and an effective transition plan is currently in progress. These leadership changes will take effect on June 1, 2023.

NP Singh, Managing Director & CEO, SPNI said, “As we increase our focus on digital and prioritise our DTC (direct-to-consumer) services, I'm excited to share that Danish will lead Sony LIV's growth and oversee Studio Next's expansion. Westlife Foodworld Ltd.

A food brand Westlife Foodworld Ltd. (formerly Westlife Development Ltd.) - owner and operator of McDonald's restaurants in West and South India – has designated Amit Jatia as Chairperson, Jatia will be taking over as Vice Chairperson. Previously, he worked as the Vice Chairman of Westlife Foodworld,

Amit was instrumental in establishing McDonald’s in India in 1996. Since then, he has been an integral part of the QSR industry for over 26 years. Under his leadership, McDonald’s India (West & South) expanded its footprint to over 357 restaurants, launched its in-house specialty coffee chain McCafé, and scaled itself to a food tech company going from strength to strength.

Adomantra

To expand business operations and drive growth across the country, Adomantra, digital advertising and marketing solutions company has appointed Vikas Pandey as the Marketing and Business Head. 

Vikas Pandey comes with over two decades of extensive experience in brand management, marketing and sales.  Prior to this, he was associated with D S Group, as a Brand Manager for almost a decade. He was leading the brand campaigns with all the existing stakeholders through direct marketing efforts and communication strategies, which made a significant impact on the business growth of the company for the last few years. Vikas has earlier worked with various brands like Colgate-Palmolive, Pfizer and Wockhardt ltd.
