Meta Creates A Single Account For Facebook, Instagram, Messenger

These modifications will be reflected in Accounts Center, which can be found in the Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger settings menus

The Instagram, Facebook, and Messenger apps from Meta's family are used by billions of people worldwide.

Certain settings across the three applications may now be managed more easily thanks to the social media business. Robert d'Apice, head of product management for Meta, stated in a blog post that Meta will simplify locating and managing specific settings across many apps.

These modifications will be reflected in Accounts Center, which can be found in the Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger settings menus.

It will be simpler for users who use numerous apps to maintain their settings now that users can discover information including personal information, passwords and security, and Ad preferences in the Account Centre.

Additionally, Meta is enhancing some of the ad settings capabilities that can assist users in understanding and controlling their ad experiences across all of its apps.

The company added that it is making it simpler for users to understand their options when it comes to seeing Meta advertisements on other apps and websites.

In addition to the current option of seeing less adverts on things that interest them, Meta also stated that it is looking into new ways to enable users to see more advertisements about the topics that interest them.

Users have the opportunity to add multiple accounts to the same Accounts Centre. Users have the option to maintain distinct Accounts Centers for each of their accounts.

According to Meta, these modifications will start to take effect today and gradually roll out to everyone on Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram over the course of the next few months.
