Meta & FADA Collaborates To Assist Auto Dealerships Reach Customers Digitally

According to the social media giant, it will train more than 3,000 auto dealers across the country to develop a social presence and digitise using Meta platforms

On Wednesday, social media platform Meta declared a partnership with the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) to help auto dealers across the country engage consumers digitally. The initiative Move with Meta was announced at the Auto Expo 2023.

According to the social media giant, it will train more than 3,000 auto dealers across the country to develop a social presence and digitise using Meta platforms.

Currently, FADA represents 15,000 car dealers across the country. With people increasingly relying on digital touchpoints to make vehicle purchases, car dealers have felt an urgent need to become discoverable to clients online, according to the report.

Through its major features, including Stories, Reels, Business messaging, and Facebook and WhatsApp Groups, meta platforms enable auto dealers to develop a social presence.

It was also mentioned that Facebook and Instagram assist auto dealers with a more efficient strategy of lead generation via hyperlocal outreach.
